Like many Malinois, he is loyal, strong-minded, incredibly intelligent, and eager to please. He thrives when he has a purpose and would love a family who can give him a “job” to do—whether that’s training, adventures, games, or simply being your active sidekick.<br/><br/> Smokey LOVES the water! He absolutely lives for a good swim, and his protective instincts even kick in when you're in the water. If Smokey thinks you need rescuing, he'll happily come get you and make sure you get safely back to shore. Click on Douglas Animal Welfare Group below for the address and directions.<br/><br/>ALSO A "MEET AND GREET" WILL BE REQUIRED IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER DOGS IN THE HOUSEHOLD. <br/><br/>ONE LAST THING! If you rent, you will be required to provide written approval from your landlord that you can have a dog. It needs to be specific, i.e. all dogs okay, no big dogs, specific breeds restricted, etc.
