Handsome, goofy, sweet & lovable Smokey is officially adoption ready! <br/><br/>At about 1-2 years old, 60-70lbs, Smokey is a very active hound boy who we believe would be a great hiking or running companion. <br/><br/>Smokey would love a home with another dog close to his size and energy level, he is great with all dogs but smaller or older, less active dogs get wore out by him pretty quick. He does fine being an only dog as well. <br/><br/>Cats are a no-go as he has a killer sense of smell and hunting instincts. Smokey is a very rambunctious pup, so little kids could easily knock down an accident, but older kids should be fine. Just note, when he gets to playing he can be like a bull in a china shop. <br/><br/>Smokey is really good about only chewing on his toys and blankets for the most part, but shoes are still very tempting for him. <br/><br/>His only bad habits are jumping when he gets excited meeting new people and using teeth when playing sometimes. He loves playing tug of war with his rope toy and also loves his squeaky toys and blankets. <br/><br/>He loves stuffed animals but be warned they will end up in a million pieces all over your house.
