Smoke.'s Story

Smoke is a gorgeous 3 year old Bully mix. He is mellow, sweet and goofy. Smoke likes to be with his people and will snuggle up to anyone! He is great with other dogs, and will match their play drive, but also will leave them alone if they are not interested in interacting. Smoke is a very well balanced dog who would be a welcomed addition to any family. He is housebroken and neutered. Smoke is pictured with his brother Cranford who has been adopted. They were reunited for a visit and just played and loved each other. He is a prize! Smoke basically grew up in a shelter and so deserves to find a forever home now. Lost Paws Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for looking to adopt a cat or dog! We get many emails, applications and PetFinder Inquiries every day. As volunteers who also have families and full time jobs, we cannot get to them all immediately. Please allow 5-7 days for a decision to be made. Some animals get more applications than others which will make the process a bit longer. Lost Paws Animal rescue adopts and fosters within a 2hr radius of Raritan, NJ. Rare exceptions are made on a case by case basis to take into account any special needs an animal may have. When you sign the application, you understand that omission of information and/or failure to answer all questions and sign the application can result in the application being declined. Upon submission of the application, you give the rescue permission to investigate the information provided, including conducting a background check, as well as contact veterinarians and related officials. The adoption decision is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to the compatibility of the family and home to the individual pet, and other applications received on this pet. It is the rescue's sole prerogative to decide which home is most appropriate. It is our goal to place pets in loving, lifelong homes and any information gathered is used only to that interest. A member of our Adoption Committee will be in contact if you are approved.
