Smiley's Story

Meet Smiley - The All-Terrain Adventure Buddy & Volunteer Favorite!!
We truly don’t understand why Smiley is still waiting, because he is—quite literally—the "Full Package." He has the stunning, athletic build of a marathon runner, but a heart that is pure, unadulterated joy.

Smiley has been "field-tested" in the real world, and he passed with flying colors. He is an event superstar. He recently attended an off-site event and was an absolute gentleman. He was incredibly calm, patient, and sweet with visitors of all ages, including young kiddos! He also makes an excellent co-pilot. On his recent "Doggy Day Out," he hopped right into the car and rode calmly like a total pro. He has fantastic home manners and loves settling in for sofa snuggles after a fun day out or yard time. He is built for adventure and looks incredible on a trail (he’s a dream running buddy!), but he’s equally talented at the "lean-and-love."

Highly Trainable: He already knows Sit, Down, and Shake, and he takes treats with a gentle touch. He is also an expert at catching treats mid-air making him the undisputed Mister MVP of snack time. The Name Says It All: Smiley doesn’t just wag his tail; he lights up his whole face when he sees his friends. Smiley is the definition of "Strength and Sweetness." He’s for the family that wants a dog who can keep up on Saturday hikes but is a gentle, calm presence in the living room every night. His smile may catch your eye, but it is truly his heart that is unforgettable. He is more than ready for the life he deserves.
