Smidgen

Smidgen is a 9 lb. black and tan Chihuahua/Min Pin mix. He's a very sweet dog who has not had a good life. He was left tied up outside for a while and was rescued by one of our volunteers when his family got tired of him escaping from the makeshift rope they had him tied to behind the house. He has been neutered and updated on all of his shots. He is heartworm negative and on preventative and is a very healthy 1 to 2 year old little boy. He had never experienced love and cuddling before his foster mom took him in and it was a few days until he realized he was safe but now he loves to snuggle and to sleep under the covers in the bed. He is mostly housebroken and has only had an occassional accident. He does fine with the foster mom's two cats and most of her dogs, although he thinks he should be the boss sometimes. If you believe that you can give Smidgen the loving home that he deserves, he'll return that love 100-fold.
