Slinky (fka Eli)

Meet Eli! <br/><br/>Eli is a sweet, laid-back about 7-8 year-old little dachshund mix looking for his forever home through absolutely no fault of his own. He came to us from an over crowded shelter where he spent a couple months being nursed back to health by a loving foster home. He has blossomed into a happy, loving companion and continues to carry that same personality in his RDR foster home. <br/><br/>Slinky fka Eli is housebroken, walks beautifully on leash, knows his basic commands, and has wonderful house manners. He loves being with his people, getting attention and belly rubs, and curling up on a dog bed. He has done wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He is also crate trained. <br/><br/>Eli is heartworm positive, but Real Dog Rescue will cover the cost of his treatment.<br/><br/>This little guy is truly a wonderful companion—affectionate, easygoing, smart, and eager to please.
