Skye's Story

At just 10 months old, this sweet husky delivered and cared for six puppies while still being a puppy herself. She is a happy, goofy, affectionate girl who loves attention and will keep you smiling with her silly personality. She has been an amazing mom, and is more than ready for a home where she can be someone's baby now. She is looking for a very active, Husky savvy home.

Kane's Mission - Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

The potential adopter would fill out an application. We would contact them, and have an initial phone interview. The next steps are to set up the home inspection, and perform reference checks, as well as reach out to their veterinarian to make sure that their current or previous animals were all kept up on vaccinations, monthly flea/heartworm meds, and that they were well cared for, medically. After the home inspection, we would set up a meet and greet with them. Sometimes more than one meeting is necessary, especially if they have other animals. Once approved, they would fill out and sign the adoption contract, and pay the adoption fee, and we would then deliver the animal to them.
