Skye's Story

Skye is a spayed female approx. 4.5 year old Siberian Husky mix who is fully vetted and weighs 60lbs. with stunning good looks and a heart just as beautiful!
Skye is an affectionate, playful, and loving girl who absolutely adores people. She loves going for walks, playing outside, and spending time with her humans. She's happiest when she's included in family life and given plenty of attention and exercise.
When it comes to other dogs, Skye does well with other dogs after she gets to know them. She hasn't been cat-tested yet, but considering her breed it may be best for her to go to a home without cats, and due to her size and energy, she'd do best in a home with no kids or children 10+.
Skye is a loyal, fun-loving husky mix who will bring so much love and joy to her future family.

Journey's Legacy's Adoption Policy
At Journey’s Legacy Rescue, our goal is to match every dog with the perfect forever home. To ensure the best fit for both our dogs and adopters, we follow a structured adoption process: 1. Submit an Application The first step is to complete our adoption application. This helps us learn more about you, your household, and what you’re looking for in a companion. 2. Application Review Once your application is reviewed, our team will contact you if you are approved to move forward. 3. Meet & Greet If approved, we will help you set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you are interested in. This allows you to interact with the dog and make sure it feels like the right fit. 4. Finalize Adoption If the meet-and-greet goes well, you will choose a day to bring your new family member home. At that time, you will: Sign the adoption contract Pay the adoption fee. Transport fee of up to $200 applies to areas if more than a 2-hour drive dependent on the distance. From there, your new best friend will officially become part of your family! ???
