Meet Skye! <br/><br/>Skye is a sweet and sassy 35 lb girl who is coming into our care on October 24th through our amazing rescue partners and we already know this special girl has so much love to give. <br/><br/>Skye arrived at the shelter with two puppies, caring for them as though they were her own. The incredible part? They weren’t even hers by blood. Skye was already spayed when she arrived, suggesting she once had a home of her own, but when those puppies needed someone, her nurturing instincts kicked in without hesitation.<br/><br/>And that wasn’t the only time Skye showed just how big her heart is. When a scared, stray puppy showed up, Skye welcomed him in and cared for him like family too. That nurturing, gentle spirit is simply who she is. <br/><br/>At around 5 years old, Skye has a wonderful, mellow personality. She’s friendly with people and dogs, has charmed everyone around her with her happy smile, and is just as content enjoying a peaceful walk as she is stretching out in the sunshine for belly rubs and cuddles. <br/><br/>She walks beautifully on leash — no pulling, no drama, just a happy girl enjoying the world around her. She’s affectionate, easy-going, and ready to be someone’s loyal companion.<br/><br/>Skye has spent so much of her time caring for others. Now, it’s finally her turn to be the one who is cared for. <br/><br/>She deserves a family who will show her what it means to be loved, safe, and truly home. We can’t wait to welcome this beautiful girl on October 24th and watch her begin the next chapter of her life.
