Meet SKYE! Skye is a gorgeous 10 month old, 40 pound, blue-eyed, red and white Australian Shepherd/Collie mix. Her freckled nose, black eyeliner, and fluffy tail with its white tip add to her beautiful looks. She is very sweet and lovable and is crate trained. While Skye has puppy playfulness and excitability, she settles down to cuddle with you and hang out. She does fine with other dogs and people of all ages!<br/><br/>Skye loves to go for walks! She will need exercise, patience and reinforcement of basic training so this young smart dog can become the well-behaved dog she can be.<br/><br/>Skye ended up at a rural North Carolina shelter, and we can only imagine how she wondered why her family did not come find her and take her home. She is so happy that PetConnect has come to her rescue and brought her to the DC area to find a forever family that will give her the attention that she deserves.<br/><br/>Skye would love to curl up with you to hang out on a cold winter night!
