Skye's Story

Meet Skye!

This adorable Lab mix puppy is already stealing hearts—and she's only going to get more stunning from here. Skye recently had surgery to correct entropion (inward-turning eyelids) and is healing perfectly.

At just 3–4 months old and already around 30 lbs, Skye is expected to be a big, beautiful girl when fully grown. She has a gentle, submissive personality and loves everyone she meets. Whether it's people, other dogs, or new experiences, Skye approaches life with gentle curiosity. Everyone who has met her says the same thing "she's the perfect puppy".

She would thrive in almost any active home ready for all the fun (and cuddles!) that come with raising a puppy. If you're looking for a loving, easygoing companion to grow up with your family, Skye is your girl.

All dogs are in homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is complete you are able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application. For detailed information about our adoption process including fees please visit our website at http://www.stopthesuffering.org. 1. Complete the online application at www.stopthesuffering.org. 2. We complete vet and reference verification. 3. Once approved, we schedule a home visit and meet and greet. WHAT WE REQUIRE: To ensure the safety and health of your new family member, we require that pets currently in the home be altered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on appropriate heartworm and flea prevention, and that all pets be kept indoors.
