Strong-Willed, Smart, and Still Holding Onto Hope.<br/><br/>Hi, Im Skye.<br/><br/>Im a 2-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix with a big brain, a strong spirit, and a heart thats still holding onto hope.<br/><br/>I came into rescue after being found as a stray with an injury to my back leg. Even then, I never stopped trying to move forward. Thats just who I am. Curious. Alert. Determined.<br/><br/>Right now, my left hind leg is healing, and Im getting the medical care I need. Every day Im a little stronger, but what I need most now is something medicine cant provide:<br/><br/>A family.<br/><br/>A quiet place to heal.<br/><br/>A fresh start.<br/><br/>Im a petite girl with an active mind and a fun personality. Ive got that classic Husky-Shepherd intelligence, and I love being part of whatever my people are doing. Once Im fully recovered, Ill be ready for adventures, walks, and making memories with my forever family.<br/><br/>Im also incredibly social. I do great with kids, I love other dogs, and Im happiest when Im surrounded by people who care about me.<br/><br/>What I need is someone who understands that healing takes time and is willing to give me the patience, love, and stability Ive been waiting for.<br/><br/>Someone who sees beyond my injury.<br/><br/>Someone who knows my best days are still ahead of me.<br/><br/>Because underneath it all is a wonderful dog whos ready to give her whole heart to the family that gives her a chance.<br/><br/>Im Skye.<br/><br/>Im healing, Im hopeful, and Im ready to find the forever home Ive always deserved.
