Meet Sky Dog <br/>Estimated DOB: August 26, 2012<br/><br/>Sky is a sweet senior boy who found himself in rescue after his beloved person passed away. Losing the person he knew and loved has been a big adjustment, but little by little, Sky is coming out of his shell and showing us what a special old guy he is.<br/><br/>He loves being close to his people and has started seeking out gentle cuddles, morning head scratches and even lets his foster brush his fur and wipe his front paws. These little things might seem simple, but for Sky, they’re huge.<br/><br/>Sky does well with people and other dogs. He just needs people to respect his space and let him decide when he’s ready for contact. He may give a little warning growl if someone gets right up in his face, but when given space, he’s perfectly happy to have people around.<br/><br/>And this boy LOVES his walks and playing ball! Every time his foster gets up, Sky is ready to go. His age certainly hasn’t convinced him that he should slow down!<br/><br/>Sometimes Sky gets a little quiet and shut down, and we’re sure he misses his person. So we give him time, space and plenty of gentle love.<br/><br/>Sky is looking for a quiet, patient home with no children, where he can spend his golden years feeling safe, loved and included. He doesn’t need much.
