Sky's Story

I'm Sky, a blind older blue pit bull terrier with a heart as big as they come I'm spayed and ready to find my forever home, where I can show you just how much love a girl like me has to give. Though I'm blind, I navigate my world with confidence and joy - I don't need to see to feel all the wonderful things around me I'd love to meet you and prove that a little difference doesn't change what makes a dog special. I'm waiting to become part of your family!

The Rescue Haven, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Our adoption policies are designed to help create successful, lasting matches between our animals and their forever families. We review each application with the individual animal’s needs in mind, including their personality, medical history, behavior, energy level, and any specific home requirements. Because every animal is different, our process is not always “first come, first served.” Instead, we focus on finding the home that is the safest and most appropriate fit. This may include checking vet history, landlord approval when applicable, and making sure current pets in the home are up to date on care.
