He’s the kind of dog who brings fun wherever he goes and is always ready for the next adventure.<br/><br/>Sky is crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash (solo or with another dog), loves playing fetch, and has impressively great recall. He’s also learned how to run on a treadmill, which has been an amazing outlet for helping him burn energy and continue thriving in foster care. This active guy would make an incredible running, hiking, or adventure partner for someone with an active lifestyle.<br/><br/>He’s people-friendly, dog-friendly, and has done well around other dogs. While he would likely enjoy living with a balanced canine companion, he’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. Sky has not been tested with cats, so any introduction to cats would need to be done thoughtfully with proper training and structure.<br/><br/>Sky has been following a very structured training routine in foster care and has made wonderful progress. He’s a smart, eager dog who truly thrives with consistency, routine, and guidance, and he’ll do best in a home that can continue setting him up for success.<br/><br/>And while Sky definitely has that fun, high-energy husky side, once he’s had proper exercise and enrichment, he transforms into an expert-level napper who will happily snore away for hours. Underneath all that energy is a giant love bug who thinks he’s a lap dog and just wants to be close to his people.<br/><br/>Sky is looking for someone who will embrace all the joy, love, and goofiness he brings while continuing to help him grow.
