She can be a little shy with new dogs coming in but loves to play and is a poker!! Sky has been with as few as 6 others and as many as 11 without incident. Social skills with people are very good. She will greet company, allow petting and give licks. In public she likes kids of all ages. At home she has had kids 7 to 15 to be with and is comfortable. Sky she has improved leash skills walking daily for at least an hour with the pack. Her prey drive is low moderate. She is interested in squirrels and birds but not obsessed nor pull you to chase them. Cats do not appear to be a trigger. Sky is crate trained and we do crate when we have to be away for a few hours. This is for safety as we can’t supervise play and we have a few that make zoomies look like slow motion when they play chase! She sleeps in our room choosing our bed or a dog bed. Sky has never demonstrated any resource guarding. She waits patiently sitting for treats and is gentle taking them. Sky rides nicely, eats in the kitchen with 4 other dogs. She is very easy to groom her coat, dremel her nails, bathe and clean her ears. Sky is an owner surrender due to an unfortunate incident. She was with her mom and younger girl putting large trash cans out when a jogger came around their parked car and startled all three. Sky had been trained with an e-collar. We have fostered Sky for over 4 weeks, tested temperament, exposed her to multiple stressful situations at home and in public. Sky is spayed, heartworm negative, on Bravecto, current on rabies vaccine.<br/><br/>Having talked with her family and worked with Sky, I feel she would thrive in a home with an Experienced Brittany Owner. She is a smart girl who does really well with clear boundaries and expectations for behavior.
