Skippy EASY-GOING DELIGHTFUL LOW MAINTENANCE LITTLE DOG

Skippy is an 8 years old 7 lbs Chihuahua who is equal parts fun and sweet. He is a delightful little guy who was surrendered to a shelter when his owners could no longer take care of him. Poor Skippy was terrified in the shelter! He slowly has evolved into a cuddly and fun-loving little guy. He loves to go for walks, to come up for pets on the head and also enjoys being outside. Skippy does his business both outside and also on wee-wee pads. Skippy was so nervous when he arrived here, but has blossomed into a confident and playful little man. He gets along great with all the other dogs and cats in foster care. He is not a big-barker or destructive chewer A perfect dog for an apartment or for a senior. He loves being in his crate and/or playpen. This little guy is in the game of life and will bring a sweet sense of fun with him wherever he goes.<br/>Skippy does enjoy being carried around and sitting in your lap once he gets to know you. He can easily be left alone without issue. He is in foster care with 5 other dogs and 3 cats. Skippy gets along famously with everyone. His foster mom is a senior who says is so easy to take care of.<br/><br/>During Skippy's heartworm treatment he developed a fan club of all the veteranians and waiting room visitors! He is a superstar!!<br/>Skippy has complete his heartburn treatment and needs 28 more days of restricted activity but can be adopted now to a family willing to comply with that.. He is neutered, dewormed, treated for fleas and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $295..
