He loves staying active and would make a great companion for a family that enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, and other outdoor activities.<br/><br/>Skippy has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions. He's a young dog who continues to benefit from training, structure, and positive social experiences. Because he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, he appreciates having the chance to get comfortable at his own pace.<br/><br/>Like many Husky mixes, Skippy has a strong interest in small animals, so he's looking for a home without cats or other small pets. Due to his size and enthusiastic play style, he would do best in a home without small children, though he has previously lived with kids and may be a good match for a family with older, dog-savvy children.<br/><br/>A securely fenced yard is important for Skippy, as he enjoys exploring and would love a safe place to stretch his legs and play.<br/><br/>Skippy is looking for an active family that will continue helping him build confidence and polish his skills.
