SKIPPY's Story

✨ ADOPTABLE SKIPPY ✨
Meet Skippy-better yet known as Skippy-dippy-do!
Male, Chi/beagle mix
Age: 1 years old
Weight: 15 pounds
Skippy’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. He was found wandering alone for over a week in a dangerous industrial area, frightened and unsure of the world around him. Because of this, Skippy is still learning to fully trust humans and may react when he feels nervous or uncertain, both on walks and when a new person comes to the home.
With patience, consistency, structure, and proper equipment, Skippy has already made great progress. Each day he grows more confident, and his sweet, playful, puppy personality continues to shine through. He loves playing with toys and especially enjoys running in sandy and gravel fields. Skippy is very smart and sleeps soundly in his crate all night. He has been left alone for up to eight hours with no accidents in the house. He may bark when you first leave, but he does settle.
Skippy has not yet been introduced to other animals due to his initial fear of people, so his behavior with other pets is currently unknown.
Skippy is looking for a calm, understanding home that will continue helping him build confidence at his own pace. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the joy of watching a dog truly blossom.
