Sitka Alaskan Malamute & German Shepherd Dog Mix Madras, OR

Sitka was brought in by someone who was given the dog as they didn't want it anymore and they could not keep it as well. He is about 4 months old and was told he is Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd mix. He is going to be a large dog. He is very friendly and super smart. He knows how to sit but it takes him a few minutes. Did not seem very interested in playing with tug toys or a ball. He really wanted the treats in my hand instead. He had lived with another dog and children and did good. He does not do well with cats. He is not quite ready to go yet as he needs to be scheduled to be fixed but a $25 non refundable hold fee will hold him until he is ready to go and that fee will go towards his adoption fee. If you are local, you may qualify for our foster to adopt program.
