Sister's Story

My name is Sister, and I’m a ten-year-old yellow lab. I might only weigh about fifty pounds, but I’ve got a heart full of love and a tail that wags for anything my human does. Life is pretty good around here.

My human is the best. I just love following them around the house, being their little shadow. Whether they’re digging in the garden or just puttering around, I’m right there. Sometimes, they’ll throw a ball, and while I’m not exactly a fetch champion, I do enjoy carrying it around like my personal trophy.

The best part of my day is couch time. Oh, how I love to snuggle up close to my human, my head resting on their lap. It's pure bliss. We're even working on leash adventures, which is a bit of a challenge sometimes. I tend to get a little distracted by all the interesting smells. But once we get into the car, I transform into a proper lady. I sit so politely, gazing out the window. I do need a little boost to get up there sometimes, but my human is always there for me.

Having another pet around would be nice, I think I’d like that. And a fenced yard sounds like a fun place to explore, but honestly, as long as I’m with my human, I’m happy. My golden years are truly golden.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog.
