She’s dog friendly, has previously lived with kids, and seems to be potty trained. Cats are unknown, but due to a noticeable prey drive, a cat-free home is recommended.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, Sissy lost her home after repeatedly escaping and putting herself in unsafe situations. A kind neighbor stepped in to get her to safety, and her previous owners made the difficult but responsible decision to surrender her so she can find a home better suited to her needs.<br/><br/>Right now, Sissy is decompressing in a temporary foster home. So far, she’s shown that she is dog friendly, food motivated, and walks nicely on a gentle leader. She’s a smart, higher energy girl who would love a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and burn off energy.<br/><br/>Sissy will also benefit from continued structure and routine. She does best being fed high value treats and meals in her crate, as she can be a little protective with food, something we recommend practicing with all dogs as a proactive (not reactive) approach to setting them up for success!<br/><br/>Sissy is in urgent need of a rescue commitment or approved adopter.
