Sir Tinseltown - Courtesy's Story

Please note that this dog is not with our rescue, this is a courtesy listing for a little guy at a small shelter in Madison IN:

Meet Sir Tinselton

Sir Tinselton came to us as a stray, but it’s clear this little gentleman hasn’t had the easiest chapter behind him. He’s an older soul with the sweetest heart—gentle, kind, and endlessly grateful for any bit of affection he’s given.

It’s sadly obvious that Sir Tinselton wasn’t properly cared for before coming to the shelter. The yellow staining on his lower half tells a quiet story of being confined and left to lie in his own urine and feces. Despite that, he holds no bitterness—only hope. With a little love and a few warm baths, Sir Tinselton will be looking good as new in no time.

He already knows how to potty politely while on a leash, showing just how eager he is to be a good boy. Sir Tinselton does have significant dental tartar, so he will need a veterinary dental exam and cleaning to help keep him comfortable and healthy going forward.

ST has been good with all the people he has met so far & is fine with the shelter cat. However, he has shown a bit of "small dog syndrome". That could be a bossy terrier nature or just fear from being in the shelter. Also note that this rescue is will to pay $200 towards his dental work.

This is the Shelter's contact information:

SHELTER HOURS OF OPERATION

Adoption Hours:
Sunday - 12-4pm
Monday - Closed
Tuesday 12-5pm
Wed - 12-5pm
Thursday- 12-5pm
Friday - Closed
Saturday- 12-4pm
Dog Adoption fees: $200
2727 Hannah Drive
Madison, IN
812-273-1788
animal.shelter39@jeffersoncounty.in.gov

Please email or call if our normal hours do not work for you so we can schedule an appointment OR if you are bringing your pet to find a companion.
