Sir Hugh is a 6-year-old Miniature Poodle who came to us as a retired breeding dog and is just beginning his journey into family life. He’s a petite little guy, weighing just 8.8 pounds, with a gentle soul and the sweetest tail wags once he starts to feel comfortable.<br/><br/>Sir Hugh is understandably shy as he learns about a world beyond a kennel environment, but even when he’s scared, he never reacts negatively—no snapping or aggression, just quiet uncertainty and trust building. He’s getting more comfortable being held and is slowly learning that human affection can be a wonderful thing.<br/><br/>We are still getting to know him, but so far he seems to do well with other dogs and cats. He is currently learning leash walking and potty training, and he will thrive with a patient, loving home willing to continue helping him gain confidence at his own pace.<br/><br/>Sir Hugh has been neutered, had a dental performed, and is up to date on vaccines.<br/><br/>If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and the time to show a sweet little dog what love truly means, Sir Hugh is ready to learn—one tail wag at a time.
