Simone an adorable, 1.5-year old white and merle catahoula hound/bully mix with the gorgeous blue eyes; she is shy but so so sweet....she arrived at the shelter with a head tilt of unknown origin and partially deaf. It doesn't stop her once she has warmed up from running/playing and exploring. She will do best in a home with another dog. While she's spunky and brave when playing with other dogs, she also has a calm, thoughtful side that makes her easy to fall in love with. An adopter with experience with a shy dog and patience with communicating with a deaf dog but it will be so rewarding to allow this sweet smart girl to thrive. It took a village to make sure that Simone and some long-timers (such as Bingo) were safe. We were able to bring Simone to the DC area so she will have the second chance that she deserves.<br/><br/>She is crate trained.
