Simba Snowball is a 2-year-old Pomeranian mix. Our resident "Sour Patch Kid" - he is as sweet as he is adorable—and those puppy-dog eyes are impossible to resist! While we can’t say for sure what he’s mixed with, we’d bet he has Pomeranian paired with a medium-sized breed. He weighs about 25 pounds (that includes all the fluff!).<br/><br/>This happy guy loves to play fetch with his ball, zoom around the yard, and head out on walks where he can sniff and explore to his heart’s content. Simba does great on a leash and brings that classic Pomeranian energy, so he’ll thrive with an active family who enjoys staying on the move.<br/><br/>Simba is house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative—he’s all ready for his forever home. He’s currently living with other dogs and gets along wonderfully with them. Cats are untested, but based on his personality, we don’t anticipate any issues.<br/><br/>Here's where the "sour" part comes into play. Simba Snowball has shown some resource guarding behaviors in his foster home, particularly around food, treats, and toys, and he initially struggled with taking correction. With time, consistency, and positive-reinforcement training, he has made encouraging progress—and completing his neuter certainly hasn’t hurt either.
