Simba's Story

Meet Simba!

Simba is a strikingly handsome, one-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart just as big as his beautiful smile. This sweet boy is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting so patiently for! He's neutered, housebroken, up to date on vaccinations, crate trained, and walks like a dream on a leash—truly the total package.

Simba loves a good adventure just as much as he loves winding down afterward. Whether he's exploring the outdoors, learning something new, or showing off how smart he is, he's all in. And when the day is done, he's happiest curled up beside you on the couch, content with some snuggles and his favorite Nylabone.

He's been working closely with a professional trainer in the Wake County area, and that support will continue with his future family - giving everyone the tools and confidence to build a strong, lasting bond right from the start.

Simba thrives with calm, thoughtful introductions to new people, and once he feels safe, his affectionate, loyal personality truly shines. He already knows sit, down, shake, and place, and he's eager to keep learning, growing, and making his person proud.

Simba isn't just looking for a home - he's looking for his people. Perfectly Imperfect Pups's Adoption Policy
Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions. The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption.
