Simba's Story
Meet Simba!

Simba is a handsome, affectionate boy weighing in at 80–85 lbs. He’s ready to find his forever family — one that will give him love, structure, and plenty of snuggles.

Simba would thrive with an individual or couple who can be a strong yet gentle leader. If children are in the home, they should be 12 years or older. Simba also does best with another confident, playful dog — ideally 50 lbs or larger — who can match his energy and play style.

This sweet guy is both smart and eager to please! He already knows commands like “come,” “sit,” “lay down,” and “crate.” He’s currently working on “place”.

While Simba loves being close to his people (and is a total cuddle bug!), he’s not overly clingy. He enjoys soaking up attention but is also content exploring the yard on his own, especially when there are squirrels or birds to chase.

Simba is playful and enjoys the company of other dogs — from gentle play to a bit of roughhousing if his buddy is up for it.

Simba at a Glance:
Neutered

Up to date on vaccinations

Heartworm negative

Potty trained

Crate trained (though he’d much rather be hanging out with his people and may let you know it!)

Walks nicely on leash

Simba is a loving companion who’s ready to bring joy, play, and plenty of snuggles into the right home.
