Silo is a handsome boy who's already mastered some of the basics—he's both potty trained and crate trained, making him a great foundation for the right home. While he may not be the life of the party right away, there's a sweet and loyal companion underneath just waiting to shine.<br/><br/>Silo can be selective with his dog friends and prefers slow, proper introductions to feel comfortable. We believe he may not have had much socialization earlier in life, but he's currently working with a trainer to build his confidence and learn that the world isn't such a scary place.<br/><br/>New people and new environments can make Silo a bit nervous, so he'll need a patient and understanding family willing to go at his pace. Due to this, a home with children would not be the best fit for Silo. He'll thrive in a calmer environment where he can continue building trust and confidence.<br/><br/>With continued guidance from a certified trainer and a commitment to helping him grow, Silo has so much potential to blossom into his best self.<br/><br/>Despite his “spicy” moments, Silo has plenty of things that make his tail wag—he loves squeaky toys, tasty treats, and settling in with a good chew bone.
