She is a smart, friendly, freckled girl who is doing great in her foster home. This beautiful lady is approximately 6 1/2 months old and a mere 27 pounds. She is heart worm negative, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives and already spayed and microchipped. She is crate trained and goes in her crate quietly. She goes in around 10 pm until 7 am and is dry and just waiting to calmly greet you and start the day. Her house manners are very good - she is respectful of not going on furniture and will lay content on the floor on her blanket. To date she has shown consistent signs of being housebroken and has had no accidents. Her quiet nature seems to be gaining her employee of the month. A few kibble treats and her chew bones and she's content despite having to "work" for a few hours. Her leash skills ..well she's great and doesn't pull. Ladylike manners and she will sit and wait for you at doorways... She can walk on leash with both big brother canine siblings and has made it passed the goats and chickens with little interest. Her nature is gentle ... BUT Silky is also playful and enjoys romping and around with her two large foster canine brothers who are quite a bit bigger than her but quickly settles and is content to just simply be part of the family. She has met the dog savvy resident cat and showed minimal interest. All the people and kids she has met are greeted with those eyes and genuine gentleness ...
