Around 2 years old and weighing about 35 pounds, Silar is a medium-sized Cattle Dog mix with the heart of a true herder—alert, intelligent, and full of energy. She is microchipped and would do better in a home with older children.<br/><br/>She began her life as a feral dog, learning to survive on her own, but with patience, care, and kindness, she has started to trust people and show her affectionate, friendly side. Silar’s transformation from cautious and shy to gentle, loving, and playful is a testament to her resilience.<br/><br/>Silar is also a devoted mother. She gave birth to her puppies under a shed in extremely difficult conditions. Sadly, five of her puppies didn’t survive, but one little fighter, named Lucky, was adopted as a puppy and is now thriving in a loving home. Despite all she has endured, Silar remains playful, gentle, and eager to connect with people, showing that even after hardship, she has an incredible capacity for love and joy.<br/><br/>Silar is looking for a patient and caring family who can give her the time, space, and reassurance she needs to feel fully safe and confident. With gentle guidance, consistent love, and a stable environment, Silar will continue to blossom into the loyal, playful, and affectionate companion she has always been meant to be. She has so much love to give and is ready to find her forever family—a home where she can finally relax, play, and enjoy the life she deserves.
