Have we got a treat for you! Meet Silas Surprise, a 10-week-old (on 7/8) Hound / Great Pyrenees / Aussie mix, weighing 14 pounds (as of 7/8/26). The SURPRISE litter were surrendered to a pound in Tennessee, but they're ready to party everyday with you! Cue DJ horn: "B-B-B-BERRRR!"<br/><br/>UPDATE: Once home, Silas was slowly introduced to my husband, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. No problems there, he loves everyone. He was full of curiosity and puppy energy, chewing on everything and everyone....the whole day, lol! I put him in his crate around 10:45 with a cozy blanket and Disney lullabies playing and he slept great until 5:15 this morning! He woke up with a wagging tail and clean crate:)<br/><br/>Hes been amazing today! Hes already settling into a routine. Eat, play, sleep, pretty much. Although he likes playing with my dogs, hes totally content playing solo. He loves crinkly, squeaky toys, following around his humans and LOTS of belly rubs! He's also doing great with potty training. Overall, he's been a happy, easygoing little guy<br/><br/>***************************************************<br/><br/><br/>Silas is a sweet boy with a gentle disposition and an easygoing attitude. When it comes to parties, he'd much rather hang out in the kitchen checking out all the snacks and judging what everyone brought. He enjoys playing with his siblings but doesn't mind taking a break for cuddles and attention. Silas has a calm confidence that makes him easy to love. And oh man, will you love him!<br/><br/>The SURPRISE litter have lived with other dogs and would do great with kids, mainly because they'll dance the night away under a disco ball! They haven't met cats yet, but feline friends are welcome to an introduction. These sweet pups love to play and may pull on your pant leg at times, but that's only to get you grooving to the beat! They hope their future owners will help them with all things puppy training (though they have used crates for travel). Whether it's your birthday, anniversary, promotion, retirement or just surviving a long week, the Surprise pups are ready to celebrate with you, confetti and all!<br/><br/>All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
