Meet sweetie Silas! Silas is a 4 year old, 67 pound, male lab mix. Silas has unique genes that make him hairless! Silas is outgoing, loving and playful. He loves stuffies and fetch and would love nothing more than to spend all day playing with his family. Silas loves other dogs and would make a great addition to any home. The happy boy has a typical lab personality and loves nothing more than spending time with his people. Come meet this unique boy today! Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.

Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
