Siggy, Female, 2 years old<br/><br/>SEEKING A WORKING FARM ENVIRONMENT<br/><br/>Meet Siggy!<br/>This 2 year old Great Pyrenees came to FAPL to find a very specific environment. Ziggy is a working dog and that is what she enjoys and is used to. Siggy was an outdoor guardian dog, that had access to the barn, which is what she preferred. <br/><br/>She was good in guarding/protecting/managing the cats, dogs, goats, pigs, horses and chickens. Siggy knows - “sit, down, stay, come, house” and other commands. She’s looking to be loved once again and find the perfect setting! Siggy prefers to be a working dog, and is not as comfortable living solely in a home. Siggy is a working dog, and does not want to share her living space with another dog. She is a sweet dog, and does need an adopter who understands her breed. Staff will be happy to discuss Siggy with you!<br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. <br/><br/>If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.<br/><br/>Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
