Sierra is a happy, sweet girl! She is so thrilled with her life. She loves playing with toys & will entertain herself by tossing one in the air then running around with it.

Sierra came to us when she was observed being let out of a car close to some walking trails. When the driver drove off it was clear she had been abandoned.

It took sometime to gain her trust but she made steady progress. She is a bit shy with new people but warms-up easily with a few treats.

Sierra is a foster favorite. This is what her foster family says about her: 'Sierra has adapted so well to us and our 3 dogs. She is housetrained, has lots of energy and would love to be a running and hiking partner for someone.

Her favorite past-times are romping with dog friends, riding in the car, sleeping in the master bedroom and chewing on bones. Sierra is shy around new folks, but warms up with a little patience and a couple treats.'

Sierra would do well as an only-dog if her people were committed to an active life style or used a doggy daycare for social interaction and energy release.

She would also love to live in a home with another playful, easy going dog close to her size and age.

This girl is going to be a great pet for the right family!!

Stats: Husky (mix?). Spayed female, current on vaccinations & parasite control, microchipped. Age: 1 yr. old Weight: 50 lbs. Adoption fee: $350.00
