Sierra's Story
Meet Sierra and Summit

These two were surrendered to a small rural shelter where their chances of adoption were heartbreakingly slim. Thankfully, a local rescuer saw them, shared their story with us, and we were able to arrange transport to safety.

When they arrived, their white fur showed evidence of one of the worst flea and tick infestations we’ve ever seen. They immediately got baths, treatment, and plenty of TLC. Despite everything they’ve been through, both soaked up their spa day — especially the ear rubs and cleaning

They are incredibly sweet, squishy, loving dogs who deserve homes where they’ll always be cherished family members.

✠̈ Sierra is also 2 years old and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. She will be spayed afterward and should be ready for adoption at the end of June. We believe Sierra may be deaf, but she reads expressions so beautifully that it’s honestly hard to tell.

They do NOT need to be adopted together — but they DO need homes where they will never know neglect again.

Available in the Northeast:
NY, NJ, CT, RI, VT, PA, DE, MD & Northern VA

Apply to adopt:
www.chboxerrescue.com/adopt
