Once she knows she can trust you, her walls come down, revealing an incredibly sweet, loyal companion who simply wants to be close to the people she loves.<br/><br/>Watching Sienna's confidence grow has been one of the greatest joys for our volunteers. Every small victory-a wagging tail, a playful moment, or choosing to lean in for affection-feels like a huge accomplishment. She's learning every day that the world can be a safe place, and she's ready for a family who will continue that journey with her.<br/><br/>Because busy environments can be overwhelming, Sienna would do best in a calm, predictable home with adults, empty nesters, or a family with older children (9+). She thrives with patience, routine, and gentle encouragement, and she'll reward your kindness with unwavering loyalty.<br/><br/>One thing Sienna is never shy about? Other dogs. She absolutely loves having canine friends and gains confidence from their presence. We'd love to see her join a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog who can help show her the ropes and be her built-in best friend.<br/><br/>To help Sienna and her new family start off on the right paw, her adopter may take advantage of a complimentary four-week basic obedience program through Sublime K9 in Jefferson City. The program focuses on leash skills, basic commands, and building a strong bond between dog and owner.<br/><br/>Sienna isn't looking for a perfect family-she's looking for a patient one. Someone who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, and that helping a shy dog blossom is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever have. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate.<br/><br/>Our goal is to match every pet with the right family. Thank you for choosing adoption and supporting rescue.
