Sienna's Story

Sienna is an 11 pound, 6 year old, spayed female Toy Poodle who came into our rescue after being found as a stray in Ontario. Animal services determined that she needed additional socialization so they reached out to our rescue to asked if we could help.

Sienna is very puppy like and mischievous. She is a bouncy little girl who is starting to trust her foster mom but isn’t 100% there yet. She is very affectionate and loving once she trusts you. She can be high energy bouncing in the back yard like a rabbit and boy is she fast. She will bring a smile to your face with her antics, always on the look out to see what’s around the next corner. She loves the back yard and seems to have a lot of fun with the other resident dogs.

She will steal things off the coffee table as she thinks everything is a chew toy.

She will need on going house training support and, as she is not comfortable walking on leash yet, she will require a completely fenced in yard accessible from the home. She still has accidents but is getting a lot better. Applications from apartment dwellers or homes without a fully fenced yard will not be considered.

At night time she will go into her crate on her own with the door open and sleep peacefully until morning.

Sienna is scheduled for a dentistry and will be ready for her forever home very soon. If you think you could provide Sienna a safe, kind, loving home please fill in our Adoption Application for our review.

Due to time constraints, we cannot respond to every email asking for more information on a dog. Please carefully review the bio for the dog and our adoption process https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/adoption-process/. If you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application form at the bottom of that page.
