Hi, Im Siegfried!<br/><br/>I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control, and my story almost ended before it had the chance to begin. Shortly after Angel Dog Alliance saved me, I had to be rushed to the emergency hospital because I was struggling to breathe. An oxygen box helped save my life, and thanks to the people who refused to give up on me, Im still here.<br/><br/>Now that Im feeling better, Im making up for lost time!<br/><br/>Im a big, goofy boy with lots of puppy energy packed into an adult body. I love to play, explore, and stay busy. If youve been looking for a fun, active companion, I might just be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Im also a big fan of chewing, so Ill do best with plenty of durable chew toys, regular exercise, and continued training as I recover and settle into a routine. My foster thinks a lot of my puppy-like antics will improve once Im fully healthy and able to burn off all this energy.<br/><br/>The rescue believes Im dog friendly, and theyre continuing to learn more about me every day.<br/><br/>I got a second chance at life, and I dont plan on wasting it.
