She came to DHS with her "sister," Ava, after a change in their owner's housing situation.<br/><br/>Shylah can be a little shy when she first meets you, but once she starts to feel comfortable, her sweet and playful personality shines through. Mention going outside for a walk and she'll get so excited, pawing at you as if to say, "Let's go!" 🐾<br/><br/>Shylah has lived with other dogs and does well with canine companions. She would prefer a home without cats. She is both house-trained and kennel-trained, although she does best being kenneled when her people are away.<br/><br/>This curious girl loves exploring and being involved in everything going on around her, so she'll need to be kept on a leash when outside unless she's in a securely fenced area. And when the day's adventures are over, Shylah is more than happy to curl up in bed with her favorite person.
