Shyla's Story

Meet Shyla, the bestest girl! Shyla is around 3 yrs old and is already housebroken. She will wait patiently in her kennel (a bribe of a Bacon Bit or Pupperoni helps) when you have to leave, and has the enthusiasm of an older puppy that enjoys squeaky toys and taking walks. Even better - she wont go bonkers on rainy days when walks turn to bathroom breaks only - Shyla may be the a good dog for you.

When it comes to keeping company, Shyla can hang with teens but young ones with bursts of energy tend to be too much for her. Shyla's one affliction? She has RSF (resting smiley face), especially if you give her lots of love. Who wants to meet Shyla?

Interested in meeting this dog?
Visit our website (https://www.sccrescue.org/) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend.

We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dogs individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.

Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don't know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.

Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Questions? Email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org. Hope to see you become part of the SCCR family!
