Meet Shy Shari

Shy Shari is between 9 months to 1 year old, female beagle who recently arrived on the Freedom Ride from NC to NJ. She was rescued from horrific living conditions in NC by one of our wonderful southern volunteers.
Shari is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and small in size. Due to the urgency of the situation, there was no time to get her spayed in NC.
Shari would do best in a home with beagle experience and another dog. A fenced-in yard would also be helpful. She gets along well with other dogs, cats and children.
Poor Shari has never touched the ground because she lived in a rabbit-hutch type house her whole life.
Shari will need a patient, comfortable and quiet household to help her transition to a normal, loving and wonderful dog life.
Please consider opening your heart and home to this wonderful little girl.
