Shy's Story

Shy is a 2-3 year old Chihuahua Mix weighing about 8lbs. Shy came to CO with 10 other small little dogs from a hoarding case in Texas. When they first arrived they were terrified but have all started to warm up and really shine. Shy is the sweetest little man. He gets along great with other dogs (big and small) and even likes to play! He does take time to feel comfortable around new people and will need a human or family who can be patient with him while he warms up and learns to trust more. It took him about 3-4 days in his current foster home for his true, goofy, loving personality to start comig out, so we assume his forever humans will need to have the same patience as his foster momma. We would love for Shy to go to a home with another dog to keep learning from, and because he loves other dogs!

Once Shy's forever humans gain his trust he will be loyal, loving, incredibly snuggly, and just an amazing little guy. It's so clear this little guy has so much love to give and now that he is feeling safe he just wants everybody to know!

If you are interested in adopting Shy, please fill out our adoption application ta brighterdaysdogrescue.com
