Shy's Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.

Meet Jade, Piper and Shy! These cuties were dumped at the dump and have been in a loving foster home getting ready to travel north. They are approximately 6 months, and likely are Mutts! As puppies, they will need an adopter who will work on making her a great adult dog - house-training, crate training, and leash walking are skills to learn! She could go to a home with other dogs, cats, and kids 5+.

Her foster says, "Shy is super sweet, and was definitely the mother hen to her two sisters. She is a very laid back relaxed puppy. She enjoys bones more than stuffed toys and will usually snatch one up as soon as I toss all the toys out. She will however occasionally grab a stuffed toy from one or both of her sisters just to remind them who the boss is. Shy will happily walk into her crate at night and lay down with her bone. When you open the crate in the morning, or if she happens to whine at night she will go straight to the front door and wait to be leashed so she can go potty. She comes back in and goes straight to her crate. Shy absolutely thrives on pet pets and belly rubs. If she had her way she would have a mom, dad, brother, sister, or even better a grandparent to snuggle with all day. If you are looking for someone who truly just wants to show you unconditional love Shy will gladly show you that is one thing she is not shy about."

She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on February 27th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.

- Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.
- Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.
- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
