What is Fur Fun Rescue’s adoption process?

Our dogs are all in foster homes. We require a completed application prior to meeting one of our dogs. The adoption application is on our website: furfunrescue.org. Once the application is received, we check the veterinarian reference if you have or have had pets. Then we contact you to set up a time to meet the dog. If, after meeting the dog you want to proceed with an adoption, we will run a background check, call personal references, and do a home visit. We always introduce our dog to any current pets. The final step is completing the adoption contract.

Is Shotzy good with kids?

Shotzy is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Shotzy good with other animals?

Shotzy is good with other dogs. Shotzy is not good with cats.

When can I meet Shotzy?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
