Shortcake Sweets's Story
Meet Shortcake Sweets

Shortcake is three years old, around sixty pounds, and genuinely believes every single day is a big exciting event. She wakes up ready. For what? No one knows. But she’s ready.

She’s fully housebroken, very smart, and extremely confident that she knows what she’s doing at all times, even when she absolutely does not. Walks are exciting because everything is exciting. The leash situation is improving, but she definitely walks like she’s late for something important, even though she has nowhere to be and no responsibilities.

Car rides are her favorite thing. Open a car door and she’s already inside like she owns the vehicle. Windows down, ears flying, convinced she’s on a road trip even if you’re just going to Wawa.

She has real zoomies. Not cute little jogs. Full-speed, out-of-nowhere, “why are you running like that” zoomies. And then immediately after, she’s done and wants to be on the couch, touching you, preferably pressed up against your side like a weighted blanket. Personal space is optional. Attention is mandatory.

Shortcake is dog friendly and would be totally fine with another dog, as long as you understand she will still assume she’s your favorite. She would do best in an adult home or with older teens who enjoy a calmer environment and don’t mind a dog who wants to be involved in everything you’re doing, including things that do not concern her.

She’s goofy without being crazy, affectionate without being needy (okay maybe a little needy), and the kind of dog that makes your house feel louder and warmer just by being there.

If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh without trying, keep you company without asking permission, and remind you daily that you’re never alone ever again, Shortcake might be your girl.

Apply to adopt Shortcake Sweets here
https://airtable.com/appfQ4VwNRgl8eJ7Q/shrAeGg1voRANylSz

PRAI Kennel License 18024
P.O.
