Meet SHIRLEY! <br/><br/>She was recently rescued along with her sister Laverne after living in a small pen outside for the past few years.<br/>Shirley is a 4-5 yr. old Jack Russel Terrier mix, weighing in at around 8 pounds!<br/><br/>This cutie, sporting her fresh haircut, loves cuddles and being loved on...but she is also a little firecracker and full of energy!<br/>She is great with other dogs, and children who are respectful. She is not cat tested, but we see no reason why she would not do well with a feline friend to play with!<br/>Shirley is crate trained and doing great potty training. PAWS of Adams County's Adoption Policy
You can find an adoption application on our website or a link below. You must have a good scoring with your veterinarian to adopt. Make sure all of your references know as well as your veterinarian that we will be calling. AN APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT BEFORE A MEET AND GREET! Without a doubt, when you adopt a rescue dog, puppy, cat or kitten will put an instant smile on your face and you gain a wonderful companion! Once you fill out an application one of our application specialists will contact you as soon as possible. All of our dogs and puppies will be updated on their normal vetting including vaccines, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and heartworm tested, as well as on a heartworm preventative, before adoption. They all live in foster homes and have been socialized with work on crate training, potty training and trust (if needed).
