This sweet dog is super affectionate without being overly demanding and loves spending time with people and canine friends alike. They do well with other dogs in playgroups and would enjoy a home that can keep up with their moderate to high energy level.<br/><br/>She is easy to walk on a leash, crate trained, and appear to be potty trained, making the transition into a new home even smoother. Like many energetic dogs, they can sometimes get a little overly excited, but they respond well to redirection and are eager to please.<br/><br/>This pup would do best in a home with NO CATS and with KIDS 12 + years old. If you're looking for a happy, social companion to join your adventures, this lovable dog may be the perfect match!<br/><br/><br/><br/>Shirley is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. People visiting the shelter in person or viewing animals on our website will note that all of our dogs are labeled as Mixed Breeds unless they have been DNA tested or are surrendered to the shelter with paperwork. Any potential breeds listed here on PetFinder are not assumed to be accurate and are merely a starting point for people to be able to search for a dog who may visually resemble a breed they are interested in.
