Shiner the country boy

Shiner is an absolutely gorgeous, sweet dog who is feeling lost in life and longing for a home to call his own. He was purchased as a pup and had a great life with his dad, living in a country home with a big yard and lots of love and companionship. His owner passed away suddenly and this poor baby ended up in the pound. The volunteers were all heartbroken to hear his story and meet this unbelievably sweet boy who was longing to be loved again. Fortunately an amazing foster home immediately agreed to foster him until his forever home is found!<br/>He went to the vets where he was given a clean bill of health! He is an absolute social butterfly and did amazing with everyone there! He’s now up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative! He’s about 7 years old but you’d never know- he think he’s 2! He’s active and healthy and a perfect 60 lbs!<br/>In his foster home he has found new life in the joy of playing with other active dogs! He was an only dog in his home but in foster he has shown to be really excited to now have the opportunity to race around and play with active dogs his own size. He’s loving it! He will do best in a home with a roomy yard to run and play in, and another active dog who he can race around and wrestle with and channel his energy! His best buddy in foster care has been a 4 month old puppy who brought him back from the heartache and has given him incredible joy in the play and snuggling! He was raised in the country and loves to have a yard to play in and loves to explore with his humans! He is super social and a very loving, affectionate boy. His foster mom takes him on super long walks and this guy is an dxcellent companion for hiking, jogging, etc. He enjoys cuddling on the sofa with his foster parents, going for rides in the car, hiking, and anything he can do to make the best of every day! He enjoys a nice breeze and relaxing by your side while you bbq or do chores outside. He’s great inside and loves to balance his indoor life with outdoor fun and exploring nature. He is a breed combination that truly enjoys outdoor activity and will love a confident home where he can enjoy running and playing with other pups outside! And getting in his snuggles at the end of the day with his beloved humans. He is a friendly, fabulous, and absolutely gorgeous guy with a wonderfully loyal temperament. He’s so unique with his gorgeous whispy cream and golden freckled fur and amazing plume of a tail! He not only has show stopping beauty but is just such a good boy. He was a devoted companion for years and he’s now got hope that he will find a new loving, active, devoted family to call his own!
