Sherbet Squirrel's Story

Sherbet Squirrel is a sweet senior girl with a big personality in a tiny package! At around 9 years old and 9.5 pounds, she knows what she wants and will probably get it. She loves being right by your side, is an excellent snuggler, and isn't afraid to speak up when she wants some attention.

Little Squirrel would do best in a home where she can be the center of attention. She is laid back and could cohabitate with a cat.

Sherbet has a heart murmur but is currently asymptomatic and does not need medication. This little girl is ready to spend her golden years getting all the love, cuddles, and attention she deserves.

Big Paws of the Ozarks's Adoption Policy
All adopters must fill out an application on our website with all necessary information. From there, our staff will conduct a phone interview and answer any questions regarding the dog or the adoption process. Once approved, a meet and greet is scheduled with the family, dog, and dog's foster family. This is the time where other pets can be introduced. If the meet and greet goes well, we can send the dog in a trial adoption for a few days to make sure it is a perfect fit for everyone. From there the adoption is finalized through payment of the adoption fee and transferring of vet records.
